The GMBA (Global Masters of Business Administration) is designed for business professionals and executives who are sincerely interested in advancing their career with global and international corporations. The GMBA from Porter International university enhances the international acceptance of the student towards an international career.
The curriculum is the same as a traditional bricks-and-mortar school, with the flexibility to start and stop courses on your schedule.
GMBA students at Porter International University will have the opportunity to learn, practice, and experience multi-national business concepts.
To be eligible for the program, participants must have a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of three years’ work experience. Thus, students bring to the classroom a wealth of real-world experience, knowledge, perspectives, and talents on which to build. It is an international norm to pursue an MBA only after acquiring practical knowledge in the workplace.

At the completion of this program, graduates receive a GMBA degree from Porter International University.
To earn the GMBA students must complete a minimum of 48 graduate hours in GMBA course work. An additional 4 hours is allowed to complete the GMBA Master Project.
Of the 48 – 52 hours of classroom course work to earn the GMBA
- 36 hours of Core course work is required*
- 12 – 16 hours of Elective course work may be taken.
- 4 – 8 hours of elective course time is provided to work on the Masters Project. Students may choose to use only 1 hour or all 8 hours on the Masters Project. No more than 4 hours towards the maters Project can be taken in any one semester of work.
*GMBA students must take and pass a minimum of 3 required courses prior to taking any elective courses or Practical Experience hours.
Students are limited to 16 hours of course work per semester. Up to an additional 2 hours per semester towards the Masters Project is allowed, for a total of 18 hours per semester.
